My new hobby

I have written several blog posts the last year about how I have been looking into buying a nicer camera. The day finally arrived.

I can't believe how much fun I have been having playing with the camera and all of its settings.

Here are some of my favorite photos so far.

  1. Do you happen to know what kind of dog that was posing for you? Reminds me of Benji... We are on the hunt for a new dog, too :)

  2. Hey I posted another comment earlier that never showed. I figured you were moderating, but my second comment posted instantly. Weird. In case you never got it, I said that I love your new pix! We also got a new camera this week!! A Nikon D 5000. Looks like you've learned enough to show me a thing or two!

  3. Hi Karyn,

I've been a Canon user for a while, so I went with the Rebel. I thought you already had a nice camera!! Wow! Congrats on getting a new one!

I'm not sure what kind of dog he is. The dog belongs to some friends of ours, and even THEY don't know what kind of dog he is! They have been trying to figure it out. He is certainly a cutie though!

  4. Hi Karyn,

Let me know how many pictures you take in the first week. I think Emily has passed the 400 mark.

The dog is a Peekapoo. I had one when I was growing up and was an excellent pet.

Dear Bloggy People,

You make me so happy when you comment. I love talking to myself, but I get an even bigger kick when the computer talks back!
